"Danza" is a Appalusian colt (Lusitano x'd Appaloosa) DRESSAGE / SPORT PROSPECT. Eligible for registration with ApSHA. Will mature about 16.1 hh. He has nice straight legs, a long shapely neck, expressive eyes set in Baroque head, well-balanced body, and impulsive movement.
Danza is well socialized, shows the promise of great athletic capabilities. He is always aware of, and interested in his surroundings. He has unlimited potential and is UTD on shots & wormings.
He is people loving and eager to please, very easy to work with, easy going, smart, gentle. He is willing to wait and stand by you till you say lets go. As you can see by the above photos he leads, loads, farriers.
Why cross an Appaloosa to a Lusitano?
Unlike the Arabians, Quarter Horses, and Thoroughbreds, who were bred primarily for speed over distance in a relatively straight line, the Lusitano were bred for maneuverability and agility in a small area. As a result, they have an innate ability to collect and perform airs above the ground, ability to stop softly or change direction in a heartbeat, and built-in shock absorbers which give a wonderful, smooth ride that is effortless to sit. They are sure-footed and reliable on the trail. They are capable of cutting cattle with the best, or jumping a Grand Prix course with the greatest of ease. They will thrill you with their aerial acrobatics one minute, and be snuggling gently with you the next. They are bold, agile, naturally balanced over the hindquarters, kind and sensible, eminently trainable, sensitive, super-intelligent, and have excellent cow sense.
